You must know your life purpose to succeed

Understanding your life purpose – the reason you are here doing what you do is critical to your success in life. Without it, it is easy to flounder along waiting to run into experiences which inspire and motivate you.

The simple truth is that the rich and successful have a strong sense of purpose in everything they do.

And the trick is that this purpose is very rarely all about them.

It’s a fallacy propagated by the media that rich people are selfish and only care about themselves. In fact,

Outstanding is a Choice!

Be outstanding.

The world is full of average. This isn’t bad news or new news, but you have to be aware of what is happening around you.

People are blaming someone else for the fact they haven’t hit their goals, for the fact that their life is mediocre. Bu who’s calculating that? Me? Certainly not.

I’m not that arrogant.

And still…here are the facts.

  • If you ask someone on the street what their goals are, they’ll likely tell you they don’t really have any, or give you some generalisation. (Generalisations never work by the way).
  • If you ask someone on the street what they want to accomplish today, they won’t have a clue, apart from more generalisations.
  • If you ask someone on the street if they are happy with their growth as a person, they’ll likely point to the burger and say yeah.

Sometimes You Got To Play Hardball

Sometimes you have to play hardball to be of service to other people.

As a coach, my job is to always hold the highest potential and possibility in my mind for my client. But what happens when the client doesn’t have the same belief? What happens when they don’t invest in coaching, when they obviously need to?

Look, we can argue all day long about the validity of my opinion. We can argue about the importance of the client having a choice and doing things when it’s right for them. All of that means nothing in the long term, unless the client is already challenging their limitations.

If a client approaches you in the capacity of coaching– they want coaching. They want help.

If a client spends time talking to you – even if it’s a free session – they want help.

The Waiting Game

Are you waiting for what will never come?

And you have to be honest here. After all, that’s the only way to move forward.

Are you waiting? For something that will never come?

What do I mean by that?

What they Don’t tell you about goal achievement

Today I want to talk to you about what happens when we start pushing through our old barriers.

When we start expanding, stretching our comfort zones, reaching for results that are new to us, we are going to experience resistance. That resistance is a sign that you are pushing into an area that is unfamiliar.

What Does it Take….to make it – Really!

It’s true.

Success in business and in life is a numbers game.

You simply have to be active enough and consistent enough to generate momentum and send a clear message to the universe that you are serious about wanting your goal.

There’s not secret, except this…

The Rule of 5

If you’re ever stuck in getting through a goal, here’s a quick and easy way to keep things in perspective.

If there was a very large tree you wanted to cut down, and you went out with a very sharp axe and took 5 swings every day, eventually, no matter how big the tree, it will fall down.

This is the same with your goals.

No matter how big they are, if you go out every day and strike at them with intention and a very sharp, laser focused attitude, eventually you will succeed.

That’s all for today. Short and to the point.
